Revd, Freddie Strong has joined us as curate. He lives with his wife and 3 children in Bayston Hill.

"I’m of Anglo-Indian heritage and grew up in a village in Bihar which is in Eastern India. I love a good, spicy curry and enjoy freshly brewed chai (with ginger and sugar)!
I'm married to Carol and we have three children - Daniel, Abigail and Elijah. I also have an older son, Nathan, from my first marriage.
Prior to training for ordained ministry at Trinity College, Bristol, I used to work for Kingsway Worship Music based in Eastbourne.
It has been such a joy to be part of the Benefice and get to know people over the past several months. We're loving the Shropshire countryside!
Do feel free to get in touch. I'd love a chat over a cuppa. My email is revfreddiestrong@gmail.com or you can ring on 01743 872878."

Revd. Tracy Jones was Ordained Deacon in June 2024 and returned to her sending Church to serve her curacy in the Benefice of Great Hanwood, Longden and Annescroft with Pulverbatch. She is delighted to be joining the team back in her own community.

Tracy also works full time for the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

There are also several retired clergy living in the benefice, who take services as the need arises. They are Graham Earney and Colin Hurford.
